Watermark Bank makes a splash in Oklahoma

Watermark Bank is a new bank in the US, based in Oklahoma, that claims to be built on modern technology and around personalisation.

The bank says it aims to “build the best business bank” in Oklahoma by delivering highly personalised financial services to business owners, families and entrepreneurs.

It claims to have raised the largest capital for a newly chartered bank in Oklahoma’s history.

The bank says it was launched on 22 January 2019, offering current and business accounts.

On their site, the bank remarks on the importance of fraud prevention, as well as mobile and online banking.

The bank’s CEO is Matt Pollock, who has senior experience at US banks, as well as having founded WMF Ventures.

Gary McClanahan is the bank’s CFO, and also has senior experience in banks like First National Bank of Oklahoma, or Bank SNB.

Pollock and McClanahan are also Watermark Bank’s co-founders.

The board has members from Private Investments, Streets, and Square Deal Capital, which most likely have previously made an investment in the bank.
