US challenger for freelancers Lili lands $55m and passes 200,000 users

Lili, a part New York, part Israel-founded banking challenger for freelancers, has raised $55 million in its Series B round. Fintech-focused venture capital firm Group 11 led the round, which also enjoyed participation from fellow new backers Target Global and AltaIR. The start-up has raised $80 million since it launched in late 2019.
