Aruba’s latest offerings aim to help enterprise customers push adoption of IoT

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company which offers next-generation networking solutions for enterprises of all sizes globally, has announced its latest offerings that will help enterprise customers push Internet of Things (IoT) adoption.

Aruba ClearPass Device Insight, which is a powerful solution with automated and machine learning based finger printing, and the Aruba 530 and 550 Series, an addition to the family of 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) IoT-ready access points, will play a crucial role in allowing the enterprises to take out the barriers of connectivity and IoT security along with bringing down the operational costs and several difficulties that are related to IoT management.

Kevin Rothstein, Network Engineer, Sharp Healthcare said: “Being able to easily identify the growing number of wired and wireless IoT device types on our network, without interfering with sensitive medical equipment, is critical to our security and compliance goals. We are evaluating Aruba’s ClearPass Device Insight to help us discover and fingerprint all connected devices on a large scale. When integrated with ClearPass Policy Manager, we will have a powerful closed-loop policy enforcement solution down to each device.”

Last November, Aruba announced a strategic partnership with Siemens. The partnership is aimed at bridging the world of information technology and operational technology. Both the firms based on complimentary portfolios are able to help customers with highly trustable, safe and insightful data networks that enable high plant and network availability. They are also making sure that integrated operational technology and information technology system can be installed quickly and with ease, operated in a more secure way and is supported more efficiently.
